Removing Mailing Labels from Magazines

Does anyone have a good method for removing old mailing labels from magazine covers?

Maybe... try a hair dryer on high heat... Sometimes the heat will help the glue unbind. I had some hit and miss success with that in the past.

I once was able to use a razor blade edge to "slice/peel" it off, holding the edge of the blade up at an angle off the surface of the magazine, kinda like peeling silver-skin off a beef tenderloin (for any BBQers out there).
