Any Majestic labels in 2001?

On game used MLB jerseys,the Russel label was used up to 2004 and Majestic is seen starting in 2005. Is it possible for a Majestic label to be on a MLB jersey in 2001?

i don't believe russell was ever the exclusive supplier to every team, unlike what majestic became in 2005. prior to 2005, regardless of who was the "official supplier", teams used various manufacturers. when rawlings acquired the license in 1987, not every team used them. when russell acquired it in 1992, not every team used them. majestic in 2005 is the first time i've ever seen all 30 teams use the same manufacturer and no other.

to answer your question, were some teams using majestic in 2001? absolutely. the astros, blue jays, brewers, cubs, orioles, phillies, and white sox all used majestic in 2001.

The Orioles were among the first, if not the first to switch to Majestic. Their first year was 2000.

Also, the Astros switched to Majectic in 2000 when they moved into their new ballpark.
