Tex Nelson dead

Bob "Tex" Nelson, an outfielder for the 1955-57 Orioles, died July 22 at age 74.

Never on a Topps card, his sole card appearance (at least that I'm aware of) was in the Orioles SGA Crown set of the early 1990s.

I have a contact at the Orioles who told me that Nelson's son-in-law called them shortly after Tex passed and asked for an Orioles jersey that he could be buried with.
