That's interesting since it came from an impeccable source (also a board member) who picked it up in AZ from a clubhouse source during Spring Training.

So unless the clubbie took a retail bat and put game use on it...

All the other bats I have listed came from the same source from various club house contacts in AZ from both Spring Training and Fall League.

I should also mention that a couple of other board members have checked out the bat and claim they have talked with Matsui 'experts'. They say the bat shows use by others players and not exclusively Matsui - and possibly no used by Matsui at all (no 'proof' either way) but none of their so-called 'experts' called it a retail bat.
