Vintage Glove help
Members,
I need help on a value of a glove. I bought this at least 15 years ago at a garage sale. I am not familar with gloves or their values and was wondering if I could get an appraisal from the experts.
It is a 3 finger Wilson glove, it is not in great shape.
I think in the palm it say "Trainer" model...it is hard to tell.
If you have any info, age, value, etc. I would appreicate it.

Re: Vintage Glove help
Unfortunately, it's value isn't great. It does have leather piping and nice heavy leather. On the down side it's a common type of glove, left handed (most collectors are righties and prefer gloves that suit them unless it's a signature model of a lefty player), needs to be relaced, doesn't have a cloth tag, rough piping, and is from an era where signature model gloves are far more desireable. Clean it up, relace it, and condition the piping and leather with balm or vasoline, and it's probably a $35 glove. As it is $15-$20 tops. Sorry if that is less than you were hoping for, but we really try to give it to folks straight here.

Re: Vintage Glove help
Thank you so much, I figured it might not be my key to retirement...however $15 is much more than I paid, so it all works!!!
Thank you
