Re: Did THISE jersey really just sell for over $1k???
Mark, most probably the reason why it went up to that price was it became a a three bidder war of attrition in the fifth day of auction.....The three bidders probably lost from the ebay auction Jerseys4thewin had recently that sold for below 500 dollars and it was signed... -

That one looks to be a retail jersey...retail collar tag and no exclusive tag in tail (OK for 1990-91 and a few 1991-92 Champion NBA gamers, but not for 1996-97).

Wow....between the two of these, I am totally confused! I must be missing the same thing(s) that mmonte is, cuz that makes no sense at all. One, that anyone would bid $283 on a replica jersey...then two, that there is a reserve set even higher than that.Comment

It's not just Big Country. It's the color of the jersey and the hype of Grizzlies gear in the 'hipster' community. Bibby and Rahim jerseys are just as crazy. A Rahim retail authentic recently sold for over $400.Comment

I inquired about a Rahim authentic that was listed on Vancouver BC Craigslist. Same situation. Initially wanted $75. A bidding war ensued and he ended up selling it just north of $350. Beasts.....Comment
