Just days after I was excited about Nolan Arenado's accomplishment of being the 1st Professional Player (MiLB or MLB) to break the Century mark in RBI's this year, Mike Jacobs (also in the Rockies system) gets busted for HGH - 50 Game Suspension - and is released by the Rockies from their Minor League System.

The only thing I can say in Jacobs' behalf is that he did accept full responsibility and he has no plans to appeal and is accepting his punishment like a man.

Even worse for Jacobs:

"Jacobs was with Colorado Springs and was leading the team in games played (117), homers (23), doubles (30) and RBIs (97)."

Which means he was probably looking at a September call-up in a couple of weeks which he just flushed down the toilet.
