Did I really just watched utility OF'er Darnell McDonald pitch the 9th for the Red Sox? That was pretty fun to watch! Willingham made him pay though!

Red Sox saving the pitchers for tomorrows double header. It was fun watching him pitch and Darnell hit 90mph on one of his pitches, I hope the Red Sox keep him around as he's got good speed, a good glove and a pretty good bat, he just needs to get into more games to prove himself.

That's what I thought. That 90 MPH was a pretty good one. He did alright. The only other time I remember watching a position player pitch was Paul Janish SS of the Cincinnati Reds in 2009. In 2 appearances and 2 innings he face 17 batters. 9 Hits, 2 BB, 3 K, 2 Home Runs, and 11 earned runs. He has a nice 49.50 era, haha.
