Cano Maple SSK bats

I was wondering if the all maple SSK bats are bats Cano uses in games. Never seen any pics of him using an all maple SSK in game but maybe I'm not looking hard enough. Also haven't seen any pics of any members here who own them so was thinking maybe they're BP bats so they're not that popular. Just not sure as I know the BP bat he uses is the SSK with the white barrel. Any input appreciated.

cano uses many bats, what ssk are you refering to? what color bat?

This is one of them. Never seen him use them in games and says "BP" which makes me think its a bp bat. New to the game used part of collecting so trying to get as much info as I can. Thanks again.

You are correct, that is a bp bat. He used these and the ones with the white barrel for bp in 2010. If you are looking for a solid cano look for a two tone black and blond ssk, marucci or axis brand... there are a lot of canos out there with little use at best, when you run into a solid one you will know it

Thank for the info. Like you I'm a Yankee fan and Robbie is up there as one of my favorites and the fact that his bats are usually pounded out makes it even cooler to collect his bats. Been lurking around the site for a bit before I joined so I've been able to marvel at some of the collections on here. Luckily I just picked up a Cano Mother's day bat which is exciting

funny thing is i was going to buy that bat for a little less than you did but you beat me to it, great bat! There is a thread on here where you can see some of the the cano bats on this forum.

Please post yours when you get it. Cano was a tough guy to collect prior to 2009, his usage traits where all over the place. Now its a long tape job, nice pine tar and pounded usage! Not sure if i should say good luck but good luck

Yup that's the bat. I really didn't want to go as high as I did but the only reason I did was because I was able to find an image online and photomatch the bat before I even bid so I took a shot at it. Will def post pics later on.

I've seen the Cano thread, great looking bats. Your collection is really sweet.
