    Were these real... Palmer

    I didnt bid because this seller has sold items before that had many problems, plus the 1977 one has a 1978+ Wilson tag. What do you experts think.

    I'm interested as well. Got outbid by just $10 on each. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise..

    Guys, be happy....both, especially the 1977 road, were as phony as a $3 bill. The main problem with the 1980 alternate was the NOB font...too thick. The 1977 road had a multitude of errors; not just the post-1978 Wilson tag, but the crudely hand stitched tail strip tag, bad NOB font, etc. One veteran collector sent me links to these, and was of the opinion that these were the work of a 30-year hobby forger who (IMO) turned to forging once jerseys became available to collectors and fans, as his original motus operandi was to steal the stuff, either personally or by paying off an employee.
