BMH Byrne James

I was able to pick up a bat from one of my all time favorite players, Byrne(Bernie) James. I met him years ago, and he told me a lot of stories about playing baseball in the 1920's and 1930's.

Do records exist that far back? It has his signature on it. I would imagine it was created during the 1933 season when he was with the Giants instead of 1929 and 1930 when he was with the Braves.

How many of his bats were created and what were his favorite dimensions?

While I would love to help you my records only go back to the early 90's. That question would be more to our museum since they have the records for that time period.
