Best way to store jerseys?

I just started collecting football jerseys and want to display them in my future mancave. Unfortunately that will have to wait for awhile. In the meantime I was wondering what's the best way to store them? Right now I keep them in my closet in a cardboard box. One of them I got from JO sport came in a clear ziplock plastic bag. Is the ziplock plastic bag good enough? It's not going to affect the material in anyway, is it? Is it a special type of ziplock? If not I'm thinking of buying some more from the grocery store. Thanks!
