    Canada Problem Resolved- Thanks GUU!!!!

The glove I bought from the Canadian guy -- banned forum member XPFO-- is in the mail. Thaks to forum members for support. It took..
    1. Claims with US Postal and Internet Fraud agencies.
    2. Criminal complaint with local police and Canadian police
    3. Press releases to Canadian media
    4. Three-times daily e-mails
    5. But most important, the moral support of you guys.

In the end, I spent way to many hours researching, kvetching and writing.

Lessons learned -- know your seller, do not send Paypal as a "gift," and finally, as Ronald Reagan used to say about nuclear disarmament, "Trust-- but verify."

Great news and great work, Dave! Let us see pictures when you get it.

The PayPal Gift issue is 100% legitimate and I'm glad you are preaching against it for merchandise. It helps alert others of possible troubles.

I won't celebrate your victory until you tell us it is in your hands and "as described" . It sounds like a step in the right direction.

I got it!! My Miguel Tejada glove -- stinking with the DNA of heavy use. I bought it from that Canadian guy -- the former GUU Senior member (now banned)

I'll post a photo when I figure out how. It took two months and there is no certificate of authencity. He said he bought it at Sportsworld. I don't imagine they issue duplicate COAs.

The problem now is -- what to do with all the time and energy I was using to harass the guy. Can't tell the wife about it. She'd say, "You bought what!!!???"
