Re: Josh Hamilton Holy Grail
Wow, that glove just jumped from about $1,660 to $2,805. Can't believe it. I was afraid that it wouldn't fetch that much money, its being on a two-day auction and all.

Re: Josh Hamilton Holy Grail
I was tempted but it has jumped way out of my comfort zone, especially when there is a question of use. I thought it looked pretty unused when I was looking at it. At least you have a legit out if you buy it, the auction title does say game used.

The blue hat does look like a match though. I can't find pics of Josh wearing a red hat in the 2010 WS.

Re: Josh Hamilton Holy Grail
BTW, I believe the MLB hologram is only authenticating the signature.

Re: Josh Hamilton Holy Grail
Just some observations.
- FJ 275557 – FJ 275619 63 Hamilton items signed during a signing session for MLB ALUMNI MARKETING SIGNING
- MLB ALUMNI MARKETING SIGNING is known primarily for getting autographs of players according to their website.
- Some titles of auction items for Hamilton mention "game used" but all Hamilton items neglect to mention "game use" in the description of the auction item.
- Anyone can order a fielding glove (FJ275563 Fielding Glove) with an embroidered nickname as opposed to a glove with a player's name.
If anyone is thinking seriously of bidding, to play on the safe side I would email Matt Hazzard at matt@mlbpaa.com for clarification of provenance and game usage.Regards,
Joel S.
