I'm in no way a Pujols expert, but I can say that the tar application on that bat is way off. Albert has only recently started using heavy tar on his bats (the last 3-4 years), a time when he has used Marucci pretty much exclusively. Before that, he used a very light coat of tar. The bat pictured shows more than his early bats show.
Aside from the tar, I notice some ball marks on the very front of the barrell. This is also something you won't see from Albert. The marks should be above the name label.
And lastly, I know X bats are iffy. It seems like there are a lot of fakes out there.
Again, I't no expert, but I've watched Albert almost his entire career. And if I was deciding if this bat is authentic or not, I'd side with not.
