dont think its even game issued becuse if its issued the wilson tag should be inside the collar
i wuldnt bid on it and theres no jr patch on sleeves as well

Buyer beware.There are a lot of non-game used Marino jerseys that came out of Miami during that era.It might have originated from the team as they had many of them for charities,gifts,etc.I get the feeling this is one of them.Joe Robbie patch started in 1990.I think in '89 the sleeve should also be customized in width but I am not certain as I collect mainly 60's-70's Dolphins.Neck tagging was much later.Hope it helps.

Hey Jim, This Jersey Looks To "new" To Me To Be Listed As Game Used. If I`m Not Mistaken, I Do Remember Reading That The Sleeve On His Right Arm Was Custom Cut On His Jerseys. When It Comes To These Superstar Football Jerseys, Do Your Homework. Unless It Comes With A Team Loa, Or A Loa From The Player, I Wouldn`t Touch Them. I`ve Seen Alot Of Fake Jerseys Out There. Jim Yackel Is Very Good With Football Jerseys. He Could Help Answer Your Questions. Hope This Helps. George
