question about NFL game worn jerseys
when game worn jerseys are altered to player specifications and the extra length is shortened, do the jerseys still retain the inner "Made in Berlin, WI" tagging, or are those also removed? thank you.

Re: question about NFL game worn jerseys
If the jersey is shortened, the made in Berlin tag could be removed. The tag is in the lower side of the jersey and would be part of the jersey that is cut off.
Another option where it could be removed would be if the jersey is "take in". Sometimes it will be folded over in the resewn part of the side panels but it could be removed in the process.
Just goes to show that the teams do not use (or care about) tags the same way that we do.

Re: question about NFL game worn jerseys
thanks for the replies, so does having the "Berlin, WI" tagging or not affect value of a jersey to collectors?

Re: question about NFL game worn jerseys
In my opinion, if the jersey was cut to players specs and that meant the tag was gone, it would not affect the value one bit.
