Help identifying Angels player from 1989 Spring Training

Does anyone know who the player (with arrow) is in this 1989 spring training photo. I know Lance Parrish is on the left putting on the catcher's gear and it looks like Chilli Davis on the right.

Not sure, but based off what looks to be an "MI" start and a "3" number, pitcher Greg Minton?

I don't think so....the player looks awfully young to be Minton (who had been the Show for over 10 years at the time). Plus, many card photos show Minton wearing glasses.

That's Johnny Ray to the far right, and Terry Clark next to Lance Parrish.

It appears the player in the dugout is Jeff Manto. He was on the 40 man roster in spring training for the Angles in 1989 and he wore #35.
