Manny is now a role model

It is worth skipping to the last 2 minutes of this new espn video to see Manny doing aquarobics in FL with a bunch of 70 year old women! He is certainly a changed man and can be signed by an MLB team now…no baggage here.

I do think he could still play DH, but have no idea what team would take this gamble. Then again, how could he possibly make the Red Sox clubhouse chemistry any worse at this point! At least his catfight with Youk was on the bench instead of in the clubhouse...

How does his filing for reinstatement and MLB giving him a break on his ban show he's changed?

I watched the video... boo hoo... you ran away like a quitter instead of facing the ban like a man.

If he really wants to show he changed, he can accept the original 100 game ban he should have to serve.

The words "Ramirez" and "role model" really got my attention. While I liked Manny while he was playing, I think "coward" better describes him than "role model." He retired from a game. Compared to some of the people I've encountered, Manny is just not a guy for whom I can feel sorry. After all, he knows not of the financial struggles many of us face. He cheats on the game, beats his significant other, etc. And he doesn't even serve the full 100 game suspension. That's not a role model; that's a loser.

Heard the Orioles might have interest.We need a DH so why not take the chance on Manny.They have nothing to lose if we sign him.
