Hurler Bud Byerly Dies at age 91
Eldred "Bud" Byerly who pitched in 237 Major League games from 1943 through 1960 died 01/26/12 at the age of 91. The majority of the games he played in were with the Senators, Reds & Cardinals.
As an aside, with Bylerly's passing there are now only two surviving members of the 1944 World Champion Cardinals (Stan Musial & Freddy Schmidt).
