The name is wrote in marker? I'm pretty sure back then they were stitching names in.

I know... The story is incredibly vague, there are no other visable markings and the research to even verify it may not even be possible... Then there is the whole Horace Partridge controversy

Pretty sure if I thought I had something like a Cy Young jersey, I would NOT make a comment regarding how little time I have to research it properly...

I'd be calling Antiques Roadshow or Pawn Stars to get my 15 minutes in.
