    Kelley Clear Shell Pad Sizing

    I have a Kelley clear shell size 7 1/8 that only has the suspension webbing and cheek/ear pads. I would like to obtain the front and rear pads to complete the helmet but I don't know what sizes will fit. For example, would a 7 1/4 size helmet pads fit? Thanks!

    Re: Kelley Clear Shell Pad Sizing

    According to a Kelley catalog the MH 100 were made in three shell sizes;
    37 (sizes 6 and 1/2, 6 and 5/8, 6 and 3/4)
    38 (sizes 6 and 7/8, 7, 7 and 1/8, 7 and 1/4)
    39 (7 and 3/8, 7 and 1/2, 7 and 5/8, 7 and 3/4, 7 and 7/8, 8)

    The padding itself varied in thickness from 1" to 5/8" and according to the size required would be matched accordingly.

    So yes, the 7 and 1/4 padding would fit in the same shell as the 7 and 1/8 but then the helmet would technically become a 7 and 1/4 sized helmet fit wise.

    Thank you! I really appreciate you taking the time to put this together! Now the search begins...
