Is this a GU NFL football?
Just wondering, I thought that when the team name was on the ball like this they were intended for game use. Anybody know for sure?

The printed (laser etched) team names started in 2006 with the introduction of the new Duke ball. That'd be a 1992-2005 Tagliabue ball, which were not laser etched with the team name. That said, it may have been stamped (looks in your pic like stamping as opposed to laser printing) by the team itself, so none of this is to say that it isn't some kind of team-used ball. Any background you have on the ball?
