Help needed on a jersey please

Hello everyone, my name is Steve and this is my first post. I've been a long time "lurker" on this forum and now I've finally become a member. I'm a "newbie" when it comes to baseball game used/worn as I was mostly a hockey game used/worn collector so my knowledge is very limited at this point but hopefully not for long.

I hate to use my first post to ask for help because I haven't been able to contribute but I'm stuck and need some help.

I was wondering if anyone could help me on this jersey that I recently purchased. I'm pretty sure it is from The Citadel Military College in South Carolina but I have no idea from what year it might be from or who may have wore it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It appears to be a late-1980s to early-1990s jersey. The American flag would usually date a jersey to 1991, being added during Desert Storm. Since this is a Citadel jersey, the flag may have just been a regular part of the uniform...

But I'm kinda thinking 1991.
