Kevin Hickey, who served as a pre-game instructor for the White Sox since 2004 and pitched for 6 years in the Majors, died today at age 56.
Hickey came into the majors with the White Sox and threw there from 1981-83, the last being the AL West "Winning Ugly" division title. He then resurfaced in the Majors in 1989 with the Orioles, and pitched there through 1991.
