LS Bat help?

Anyone know why louiville Slugger doesnt stamp players numbers on their handles since they already stamp everything thing else except the players birthdate? Thanks

We screw up enough things on the bat already; remember those Derek Jeter New York Mets bats?

We use SAP in the factory. It's not the easiest program to use and put information into. Players change teams and numbers sometimes. Keeping up with that would be a pain in the rear. Yes, other companies do it, but we are making close to 500 in the pro department a day. We have enough processes to worry about already.

We are in the process of redesigning our brands...again. Some of the information on the knob might be moved to the end brand or the back brand. So we might have room for something else on the knob.

Thanks for your reply Brian, I have a handful of LVS gamers and just thought it'd be really neat if you guys added the players numer on the handle or knob of the bat IMO, who else does it besides Marucci? Thank you
