Griffey Jr. Changes Uniform Number
Just read where the Cincinnati Reds announced that Ken Griffey Jr. will wear #3 during the upcoming season in honor of his three children.

Boxers don't wear jerseys but it would be interesting to see what number Evander Holyfield would have worn.

re: Griffey Jr.
Although it's difficult, if not impossible, to find any images of Griffey wearing #42, many online baseball resources, encyclopadias, etc
note that he wore both #24 and #42 in 1997. In the retiring of Jackie Robinson's #42 in 1997, the MLB said that anyone already wearing #42 could be grandfathered in, which is how Mo Vaughn got to keep the number for so many years. I'm guessing Griffey started wearing #42 early in the 1997 season, got grandfathered in, wore #42 for only a few games and then switched back to #24 relatively early on.
