Yup, he's a pretty nice guy. Kind of strange but this year the Shorebirds had Daniel "Rudy" Ruettiger's nephew playing for them.

2010 (i think) Billy Butler game used home jersey.

Took the jersey out of the frame, found jersey has MLB Hologram. MLB states jersey was last used on 4/24/2010. Billy went 4 for 6 in that game and played 11 innings at 1st.



I'm trying to PM it but the stills on the standard sites don't have anything. May need to resort to MLB.TV at some point in the future.

Today is a beautiful day as a grail has been taken off my list. I finally found a super, super rare Astros jersey, a 1972 Spalding Road Jersey. This is the 1st year the Astros wore double knit jerseys. This was the only season Spalding made Astros double knit and they only made the road jerseys. Features the one year only Astros patch on sleeve. They changed back to the orange patch in 1973. This jersey is of Skipp Guinn. He played for the Stros in 1971 but did not play in 1972. Looks like they made this jersey for spring training in 1972. This jersey shows use. Could have been reissued or sent down to the minors. The name on the back have been restored but the number has not. Really nice jersey.

Even team-changed or restored, that is a style toughie. Also note the uniquely colored Astros logo patch on the left sleeve...exclusive to that year/style/manufacturer. Great grab!
