Opinions on this one? $1500 seems like a low opening bid (although I realize there may be a reserve).

In trying to pin down the year, I see this is an unusual Wilson tag, not found in BTPH's excellent tagging reference. It's a mix of 1974-77 Wilson script and 1978-85 size number font. Odd.

That is an odd variation of the Wilson tagging. I would only use my primer as a reference guide. There is lot more to authenticating any shirt. Thanks for pointing out this tag difference.

The tag design has similarities to the 1974-78 tag design, though not exact. Based on that, and the lack of the GSH notation on the left sleeve, I would guess that this jersey was issued in the late 1970s. The text regarding Rayson Sporting Goods is accurate, as they even did lettering for me on restorations as late as the mid-1990s.
