Authenticated Retail Johnny Bench Bat ?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Johnny-Bench...item45ed7e600e
Probably a stupid question but why would anyone pay PSA/DNA to authenticate a retail bat?Regards,

Re: Authenticated Retail Johnny Bench Bat ?
so you think they paid the full amount? so if it took them a minute to figure out that it was retail, psa/dna would still charge the customer the full amount. or is it a straight for a "quick check" like they do for autographs and then an added fee for the documentation of their findings.

Re: Authenticated Retail Johnny Bench Bat ?
it would be the full amount just the same as if it was a poorly forged autograph. If you read the letter, its not really authenticating it as a retail bat but rather the letter rejects it as a GU bat and it gives the reasons why. Yes we all could have done it here for free, but thats what happens.
