Re: August Pickups!!!
Pete Rose '76 Bicentennial bat:
I ended up moving around a good number of items in my collection and continue to do so, just to make pickups like this one. For the Reds '76 collection, Rose bats are one of the most difficult as he used pretty much all Adirondacks during the '75-'76 Championship years and the Bicentennial bats in general are always just about impossible.

Re: August Pickups!!!
man, Ben is always an impossible act to follow in the pick up thread. Oh well. My newest Cano stuff... a 2011 ALDS clubhouse chair, his 2012 first half clubhouse chair, a 2011 ALDS worn jersey with MLB and Steiner, a 2009 Marucci gamer and an early Cano P320 LVS gamer caked in tar and tape. dougiedshow@aol.com

Re: August Pickups!!!
Cracked & signed bats from the Giants #5 and #15 prospects. Duvall has tied the San Jose Giants franchise record for most home runs in a season, with 26.

Re: August Pickups!!!
Picked up a few more Indians items from the team including Brantley and Cabrera home jerseys used from Opening Day until June 18th and a road Carlos Santana used from the beginning of the season through July 8th. Also, a Brantley GU batting helmet. An interesting note on the Cabrera, he is the only player on the tribe that wears the old school jersey as opposed to the cool base fabric.

Re: August Pickups!!!
Wow. Scott Servais is from my hometown in La Crosse, WI. Never really saw a game used jersey of his, let a lone an Olympic jersey.
I remember back in 1992 when he got caled up for the Astros, there was a local auction for an autographed baseball of his. The ball went for $300. Just a regular signed baseball. I was 12 at the time and didn't understand why it went for that much.Comment

Re: August Pickups!!!
I just added this Everyday Eddie signed, game used hat. It's from his days in the PCL. To my knowledge, MiLB documentation in the '90s wasn't as good as it is now, so photomatching is will be pretty much impossible. I also can't confirm that he was #18 with the Buzz as of right now, but I do know that when he spent time in the bigs later that year, he was #18, so I am going to go with that for now.
Signature is on the other side of the hat.Comment

Re: August Pickups!!!
Picked up this "Last Out" Mariano Rivera 2007 save baseball. These baseball are hard to find with the "last Out" inscription, this is only the third one, I have seen in the last 4 years or so. Mo has such a beautiful signature and had writing, its hard to believe that he signs his LOA's so terribly. I have seen about ten signed Mo LOA's, and the signature varies so widely. I actually attached a few Mo signed LOA's so everyone can see.Comment
