Re: August Pickups!!!
Hey guys. Been a bit since i had any kind of pickup.
Well got 2 this past weekend.
A buddy of mine goes to pats camp and hounds the players for stuff gloves towels whatever he can get. Well he this past weekend had a Chandler Jones auto glove practice used, AAron hernandez glove (signed by wes welker), Hat worn and signed by brandon Spikes & a towel used by Deion Branch.
Got the towel off him for cheep thought it was a cool item.
Then another friend of mine is a friend of ray ventrone (ST player for the browns) He had a bunch of his gloves from ray for sale and i grabbed the pair with the most wear. If any one would be interested in a pair PM me i can get them. These stink as well and been in a bag for quite some time.
Thats it for now. Hope to get some new phins stuff soon.

Re: August Pickups!!!
Bought this on ebay on a whim from the player's son. Includes the jersey, pants, stirrups, a few photos and a letter from the son detailing what it is. If anyone has anymore knowledge about this uniform please email me.
The baseball uniform belonged to my Dad, who was the pitcher for the team. The team was named the Hollywood Hawks, and they were based in Lake Ronkonkoma, New York. My Dad played with his team from about 1946 after he was discharged from WWII Army Service. His name was Edward Thomas Struller, and he passed away two years ago. After he passed away, my Mom and I were going through his stuff, and we found out that he was actually a POW in the CBI Theater of WWII. His love of baseball lasted his whole life. After playing on the local semi pro team he was offered to join a program that would lead to the Minor League system, and possibly to the Pros, but he declined saying he had spent enough of his life wearing uniforms, and just wanted to start a family. All of this information is what I heard growing up, as it all happened before I was born. I know from my own experience as a kid playing on Little League teams that my father had some serious pitching skills including a fireball fast ball, a nasty submarine pitch that would rise up to, and a knuckle ball that was so good, you could actually read "Spalding" on the ball as it was coming towards you. In the long run, I think my Dad looked back with some regret at not going for the majors, because he never knew if he would have succeeded, but he was a great Father, and a great Husband to my Mom. I wish I could tell you more, but like I said all of this happened before I was alive.
Sincerely Thomas Edward StrullerAlways looking for anything John Flaherty, Drew Storen and Marcell Ozuna game used.
