    Late-reported death of 1970s Mets pitcher

    Harry Parker, a RHP for three teamsm mainly in relief from 1970-76, died May 28 at age 64.

    Parker pitched briefly as a late-season call-up for St. Louis in 1970-71, then spent a short time with them at the end of 1975. He did not pitch in MLB in 1972, and was a member of the Mets from 1973 until his change of teams in '75. He finished up with a brief stint in 1976 with Cleveland.

    Parker's best season was with the Mets, going 8-4 with a 3.35 ERA in 1973.
