Bruce Von Hoff, a RHP for the Astros in 1965 and 1967, died September 11 at age 68.

Von Hoff was only up briefly in 1965, but in '67 he posted a 10-10 record for the Astros.

He was a bit before your time, Leslie. The photo is his 1968 Topps card, the only mainstream card appearance he ever made.

Yeah, you're right. I consider myself pretty decent on Astros' history, but I had never heard of Von Huff before.
