Help with Lance Johnson "World Series" bat

I was wondering if if I could get some information on a black bat with the following markings:

    GENUINE 069
    LANCE JOHNSON
    1993 WORLD SERIES

Obviously the White Sox never made it out of the AL Championship in 93.

This is known as a phantom World series bat. You've heard of phantom WS tickets where a team issues WS tickets but never makes it into the series or phantom jerseys where a team tags a jersey with a PO tag (the Mets did this in 1985) and never makes it into the playoffs. Perhaps the folks at HB anticipating the White Sox making in to the series jumped the gun and create this WS bat for Johnson. Or perhaps they made a mistake and someone at HB thought Johnson was a Blue Jay.

Always looking for 1973,1986,1988,1999,2000,2006 game used Mets post season and Bobby M. Jones and Ed Hearn NY Mets game used bats.

Yeah, we just did this with St. Louis. We made bats for both teams since they took it to game 7 and we would only have a day turn around for bats to SF. So we made bats for both teams. The SF bats were shipped and the St. Louis bats are in the burn pile.
