Gee, wonder if that "38" on the knob used to be some other number? I just don't get it...it's simply comical and destroys any potential value even if it wasn't used by Scutaro.

The fishy part that suave1477 was refering to I think was that in the original description there was no mention of the number 49 under the 38. That was added to the description after his post.Comment

not that it matters if you are looking for a scutaro bat but more likely 19, which was his other number with the A's, instead of 49 as the 9 is underlined, not to confuse it with 61. scutaro had some teammates who used 61 but never had a teammate using 38 during that labeling period. so no idea who used it. wonder who wanted to tryout the maple bat. it wasnt a teammate of his.Regards,
