Tyrone Moss, a RB for the University of Miami in the 2000s, died of unknown causes today. He was 33.

Moss was a legend in high school football, and was a quality RB at the U, also, but injuries kept him down to some degree.

Tony Cloninger, an NL pitcher for 12 seasons and later a Yankees coach in the 1990s, died on 7/24, just a few weeks shy of his 78th birthday.

Cloninger pitched for the Braves (both in Milwaukee and Atlanta) from 1961-68, when he was dealt mid-season to the Reds. He threw for Cincy from 1968-71, before finishing his career in 1972 with the Cardinals.

His best season came in 1965, when he went 24-11 with a 3.29 ERA. With the Braves in 1966, he hit 2 grand-slams in one game, using one of Denis Menke's H&B bats.
