    Randy Jackson, a 3B who played in The Show for the entire decade of the 1950s, died on 3/20 at age 93.

    Nicknamed "Handsome Ransom" he played for the Dodgers (both Brooklyn and Los Angeles) and the Indians, with these stints bookended by playing for the Cubs.

    Former Pro Bowl LB, Mike Cofer, who played for the Detroit Lions from 1983-92 died on 3/21/19 at the age of 58. Cofer had 62.5 sacks, which remains 2nd on the Lions all-time list.

    Brandon Adams, a DT at Georgia Tech, died over this past weekend He was 21. Cause of death has not been announced yet.

    Jim Holt, an OF-1B who played for 9 seasons in the AL, died 3/29 at age 74.

    Holt played with the Twins and Athletics, and was a member of the 1974 A's World Championship team.

    Greg Booker, a RHP who played from 1983-1990, primarily for the Padres, died on 3/30 at age 58.

    At the tail end of his career. Booker pitched in 6 games for the 1989 Twins, and then 2 more for the 1990 Giants. He was a member of San Diego's first NL Chanpion team in 1984.

    FB HoFer and Packers legend Forrest Gregg has passed away at age 85.

    Gregg played for green Bay in 1956, and then from 1958-70. In his final season, he played in 6 games for Dallas.

    A legend at the tackle position, he made 7 All-Pro Teams and played in 9 Pro Bowls. He was on both the Super Bowl 1 and 2 winners for the Pack, and also was part of 3 NFL Championship squads in the pre-Super Bowl era.

    Unhappy Scott Sanderson dead at age 62

    The RHP was active in the Majors from 1978-1996. He was a member of the AL Champion Athletics in 1990 and also hurled for NL East winning Cubs teams in 1984 and 1989.

    In addition to those 2 ballclubs, Sanderson also took the mound for the Expos, Yankees, Angels, Giants and White Sox.

    Jeff Kennard, a former pitcher in the Yankees, Angels, and Reds organizations, along with the Somerset Patriots in the Atlantic League, died at the age of 37 due to cancer.
