Help with A's Zito Jersey
I found this on EBay. I want to believe its authenticity but the A's are famous for season-ticket give-away jerseys and such. Your thoughts on this.

I saw that jersey too. I've heard many stories that sounded good and turned out to be untrue, just putting that out there. I thought about pulling the trigger on this one, but with the sub-par autograph (that will probably bleed on the white jersey in the future) and the crisp looking wash tag, I passed. Just my opinion though

Re: Help with A's Zito Jersey
I am always wary of people who claim they are "friends" with a player and got a jersey from a different player this way. Also the PSA guarantee is interesting in that they don't authenticate jerseys for game use other than ones they receive directly from NFL Auctions. To me it looks like a signed authentic jersey.

Re: Help with A's Zito Jersey
While not an automatic disqualifier, the A's Majestic gamers usually have a flag tag beneath the Majestic tail label citing year and set number. This one could still be OK, but without hands-on inspection, I can't say for sure.

Re: Help with A's Zito Jersey
Hi, I used to have 4 A's Zito jerseys from this era but always made sure they had set tags and year tags and showed wear from the team sales, The A's back then would sell a lot of GI jerseys as game GW.
