Light Use vs. Appropriate Use
Noticed these descriptions on two Atlanta Braves game used jersey auctions in Grey Flannel's December Auction.
One shows a Dave Justice jersey with flag tags that look pretty prestine to me. It's described as "presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use."
The other is a Dale Murphy jersey with flag tags that at the very least have been laundered enough to make them appear bent & curled. it's decribed as "presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows light use."
Not that either of these proves the jerseys are game worn, but what exactly does appropriate use look like. I'd go with light use, I guess.Always looking for Atlanta Braves Game-Used items. hiramman@bellsouth.net

Re: Light Use vs. Appropriate Use
The tags give the appearance of the jerseys at least being team-issued.

Re: Light Use vs. Appropriate Use
I think they just mean that the use showed in GF's opinion is enough to support the proposition that the jersey was worn by the player rather than merely issued to him.
