Can you remove a To: Name ?

OK so here is my question i recently accuired a game worn jersey of David Bowens from the 2004 season. I'm 99 % sure i photo matched it but when he signed the jersey he signed To: CJ David Bowens '04
So i was wondering is thier anyway to get rid of the to: CJ w/o ruining the jersey?
I have no problem if i cant but would like to if i can.

If you do a search for signature removal, there are quite a few posts from over the years. Different people swear by different methods, but you should be able to find 3-4 options in previous posts.

I sound like a commercial for this stuff but I have used it with complete success over the years. It just vanishes the ink totally. It's called Ink-Away and it apparently is not made anymore, but you can find it on the internet. Good luck!
