SAM BATS -question-

I have a Sam Bat, dated 01 05 05. It has the model number SG1 on barrel, then Jose Lopez's name, and then Wilson? I am assuming Wilson Sporting Goods as it is the same font and style. What was the relationship between Sam Bats and WIlson?

"Sam Bat is not owned by Willson. It was founded by Sam Holman in 1997 and was owned independently by him until 2007 when it became owned by four individuals, none of which have any association with Wilson. Agreed and true. The section about Wilson purchasing Sam Bat needs to be corrected. Thanks for the info. I went to the Sam Bats website and could find no mention of that relationship. Should have used the trusty Wikipedia!!!
