These jerseys transcend sports and should be displayed prominently in the Smithsonian. No amount would be too much for someone that can afford it.
In Canada they sold the jersey that Paul Henderson wore when scoring the series-winning goal against the Soviets in 1972, that went for over $1M. I think this pair is clearly more valuable.
