Drew Bledsoe 1995 game used jersey?
Hello all,
I was looking at MEARS current online auction. I came across a "1995-96 Drew Bledsoe New England Patriots Signed Game Worn Home Jersey" auction.
http://sports.mearsonlineauctions.co...sey-(MEARS-LOA)
When looking at the jersey the front mesh on the jersey starts a few inches below the V-neck/NFL shield on this jersey. I thought that this was really only present on 1995 retail authentic (photo below) and retail replica Patriots jerseys as I have only seen that on those store bought jerseys. My understanding was that the game jerseys from 1995, the actual game worn jerseys did not have the several inch drop below the shield until the mesh. I always remembered this discrepancy because I thought that it looked stupid on my retail jerseys from that year. Any thoughts?

picture of jersey for auction, come with MEARS Auction LOA cert I do not know what that LOA says, I just know that it is titled as game worn. Am I mistaken?

I know absolutely nothing about FB jerseys, but I do know that Troy is extremely open and up-front. Call him tomorrow, tell him what you know, see what he says.

Dave,
I was referring to the non meshed area underneath the NFL shield, see photo attached, I may not have been clear before in describing what I was looking at. Great call on the Starter placement. I have seen it to the side like that on other Pats jerseys but I have not seen a pic of Drew with it on the side yet from 1995.

Re: Drew Bledsoe 1995 game used jersey?
To MEARS auction credit, it looks like the jersey was pulled, good for them.
To MEARS authentication or Auction LOA writers, not so great job of describing this as a game used jersey when it looks like it may have been a retail jersey.
In the end this looks like a good thing for the collecting universe as a potentially misdescribed jersey did not sell as such. While it is possible that the jersey was good, I could not see any evidence to this point that it was or any reason to believe that it was. Thanks for the input guys
