It would be impossible to tell them apart without a photomatch because the Marlins and Indians for that matter did not wear special World Series patches during the '97 Series. This jersey is my holy grail because it is from my all time favorite player, from a championship year.

Very cool my bro...We gotta get together at the Marlins Garage sale this year in september ..Glad to see you got your sheff....I remember him saying on 790 AM miami sports radio a couple yrs back that if in the event that he does get elected to the HOF hewould want to go in as a Marlin.

Photomatched to multiple starts from the first half of the 2009 season, including one in which he hit a 3-run HR to dead center. I also was able to find a match to a start in which I was in attendance where the Marlins beat the Cardinals on a Jeremy Hermida (off all people) walk-off HR!

This is the only 1993 Set 3 Marlins gamer I have seen. I wish the the team would have left the 1993 Inaugural Patch on it. I have thought about putting one back on but have decided against it since I rather leave it in the condition it came from the team.
Would you guys put the patch back on?
