Eric Lindros Philadelphia Flyers Skates from Early Career

    Hi Everyone,

I'm not really a hockey collector, but I picked these skates up because I felt it was a good deal, and the Spivack and Kraut company seems to be solid when it comes to 1990s Flyers equipment. The S&K LOA states these are Eric Lindros game-worn skates, with his number 88 written on the bottom of each. S&K purchased these directly from the Flyers and the LOA is dated March of 1996, which means Lindros would have used these sometime during his first four years with the Flyers, and possibly during his time with the Canadian National Team.

Virtually every photo I can find of Lindros during this period shows him wearing skates similar to these. Because of the nature of skates and their use, I know it is virtually impossible to find a strict photo match. It has been very easy to find a style match.

So, was this model of skates common? How often would players replace skates with new ones? If anyone has any information to add, I'd appreciate it... Many thanks.
