1970's Ohio State Buckeyes Jersey
Looking for information from anyone that would have any early Ohio State game worn jerseys in their collection. I need to see what style of tagging was used on the 1971-1975 road white jerseys and to see if they match a couple of jerseys I just purchased. Mine has Champion on one and Russell on the other. Any inormation or photos to see would be appreciated. Thanks bgakladd@aol.com

Re: 1970's Ohio State Buckeyes Jersey
Both jersys are number 45 and appear to be Archie Griffin's game worn road white jerseys. They were obtained in Columbus, Ohio from a son whose dad worked for the athletic department at Ohio State in the early to mid 1970's. The 1974-75 style looks like the one he wore in the 1975 Rose Bowl. It has the trimmed sleeves and shows excellent game use with cardinal color helmet marks. I can't get any photos to download but if any one has any info on the correct tagging style for the early seventies contact me. I can send pics to your email address if your knowledgable on the tagging. Right now I'm not getting too excited till I can photo match and get tagging information to confirm what I have.
