Hi all,
I recently bought a Laurent Robinson Game Used Jersey that is a Steiner Sports item from someone who bought it from a Steiner rep.
In short, the jersey was believed to belong to Jeff Robinson (as stated in the LOA and says its a 2005 issued jersey) but in fact, it belongs to Laurent Robinson from 2011. The GU jersey is a throwback from the 2011 Dallas Cowboys vs Miami Dolphins game on November 24, 2011.
I looked at the game pictures and the photos from gettyimages seem to match up very well with the markings on the jersey.
I contacted Steiner but they told me that I would have to send it in to get it re-examined and that I would have to pay a $50 fee for a new LOA? I was wondering why I would even have to pay a fee when the LOA was not even the right one in the first place? Do any of you have any thoughts or opinions on what I should do or any experiences with this matter? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again!
