ESPN 30 for 30 - Survive and Advance - 1983 NC State Hoops Story
Finally finished this 2 hour documentary about the 1983 NC State Wolfpack and I must say it was one of the better 30 for 30 episodes I have seen and most of them are really great.
If you haven't seen this one yet I strongly recommend watching it before the big games next weekend. It reminds you about the important things college basketball once offered.

Re: ESPN 30 for 30 - Survive and Advance - 1983 NC State Hoops Story
I was born and raised in Raleigh, NC and was a kid when State won it all in '83. I was a strong supporter of Carolina, but always loved Jimmy V.
I remember all those games from the tournament. I was such a hoops freak as a kid. 30 years went by quick.
As for the show, it's the best thing on television that I've seen in a long while.
I've already seen it three times from start to finish.

I have it loaded on the DVR. I was a hoops freak as well in the 80's and look forward to watching it. That Houston team they beat was loaded. I think that "Phi Slamma Jamma" is still the best college team nickname of all-time!
