It's funny how regional this stuff is. I've had some bats with huge names on them.. but this is what grabs peoples attention who come to my house. 2004 Game Worn Iron Bowl jersey from Carlos Rogers. 2004 Thorpe Award winner, and this capped off our undefeated season.. Signed on both sides, inscribed on the front with the date, and score of the iron bowl. This jersey is completely hammered.. photos dont do justice

Snagged three baseballs at the Cell before last night's 3-2 loss to the Indians. Two were BP foul balls, and the thirs was the pregame warmup ball used by Sox starting pitcher Dylan Axelrod. Total now is 1789.

85-90 style, presumably worn by sandy alomar jr in 88-89 spring training. inside has #16 crossed out and #17 written. perhaps left over from when terry kennedy was with them in 85-86 and reissued to alomar. still, a nice rare flapless for my collection!

Snagged three baseballs at the Cell before last night's 3-2 loss to the Indians. Two were BP foul balls, and the thirs was the pregame warmup ball used by Sox starting pitcher Dylan Axelrod. Total now is 1789.

you shouldnt have much of a problem getting balls this year at the cell with how empty the stadium has and will be with the sox playing so poorly

So true. I was the only person in a 30-foot stretch down the RF line for much of that BP. I plan to frequent the Cell far more this season than I do Gitmo North (a.k.a. Wrigley Field).

Not sure of the date but it has the number 17 written inside. I have a similar helmet that is from 1988 so I have a couple of guesses. Tom O'Malley wore 17 and batted lefthanded in 86. Pete Stanicek wore 17 in 1988. I'm leaning towards Stanicek. If you were thinking I scored a big time player I didn't. It's just a very popular and semi-tough style that doesn't some up too often..
